Welcome to Christ Providence

Christ Providence, previously known as Christ Lutheran until 2017, is a large, vibrant congregation with a small, intimate feeling. You will have your choice of three very different worship experiences coupled with Sunday School classes for all ages. Christ Providence truly is an intergenerational gathering in which young and old receive personal attention from our staff with program options that appeal to the entire family. At Christ Providence, you will have the fullness of a large church, yet never be lost as a unique and loved child of God.

SUNDAY WORSHIP

Christ Providence worships both in person and online with 3 different styles: Traditional, The Bridge & Contemporary. Our children's message, brought to you by Family Ministry's ChristKidsTV, is shown during the children's message at the Traditional and Contemporary services only. Nursery is available during all services for children ages 6 weeks - 36 months.

ABOUT OUR SERVICES

Traditional Worship follows the traditional liturgical flow commonly used in the Lutheran Church. Musical leadership is provided by Christ Choir and other musicians, led by organ and piano accompaniment. The Bridge Service, held in our more intimate chapel space, is a condensed, shorter blend of Traditional & Contemporary music; the service lasts approximately 45 minutes and runs concurrently with Sunday School. Our Contemporary Service uses modern praise & worship music, following the liturgical flow, and is led by SpiritSong, our contemporary band and choir.
