Tony Hyde: Director of Property and Finance‍

It is with great joy and deep gratitude that I can finally announce Tony Hyde as our new Director of Property and Finance following Gregg Huether’s resignation.

Tony has been a member of Christ Lutheran for over 25 years. During that time, Tony served as the Congregational President for two years and on the Personnel Committee for three years, chairing that team for one year. He is well versed in the culture and the ministries of Christ Lutheran.

For about 30 years, Tony has been a co-owner of a property management company that oversaw and ran things like country clubs, marinas, HOA, etc. At one time, they had over 30 properties that he and his team managed from running payroll to membership meetings to grounds keeping. Tony is uniquely qualified to step in as our Director of Property and Finance.

Tony is a man of integrity and wants to help transition all his employees and honor the contracts he has made with various organization. For those reasons, he is hoping to officially begin his duties at Christ Lutheran somewhere around November 1.

In the meantime, we have Chris Barkoukis, another church member, who will serve as an interim director for approximately two months. Chris is recently retired and has an extensive background with finance, property, and human resources from his years in the manufacturing business where he oversaw 11 different operations totaling 800 people.

Thank you to both Tony and Chris, for stepping up to serve us well at Christ Lutheran.
