Sunday School meets from 10:00 am -10:45 am during the school year.
Since parents are the primary role models for their children’s faith, we expect that parents are active in helping out with our Sunday school co-op on a regular basis to help in Christian Education.
Worship Bags are available during worship times. These are filled with quiet Christ centered activities to help children stay connected while in worship. Children’s Sermon is offered at 9:00 am 11:15 am and on some holiday services.
The Nursery is offered year-round for infants, toddlers, and 2 year olds during all worship services and for those not attending a class. Our caregivers are consistent loving adults. Nursery is on the 2nd floor of the Ministry Center.
Elementary students use 252Basics, a unique approach to curriculum for churches and Christian schools. It is built around three Basic Truths every child should embrace according to what Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52.
It is focused on youth EMBRACING their faith in Jesus Christ so that they can learn to live out this faith in ways that are real, practical and relevant through their week at school, at home and with their friends.
Through large and small groups, students will learn how God’s story connects to their story and see how the bible’s timeless message of God’s grace and salvation is still VERY relevant in their daily lives.
We focus on students EXPERIENCING Christ through their week at home, at school and with friends as they learn to live out their faith in ways that are real, practical & relevant.
Students often say that those at Christ Lutheran Church are some of their closest friends. It is not only where we “Bear with one another” (Ephesians 4:2) but also where we learn to willingly enter into each others’ lives and to walk with each other through our difficult times, just as God did for us through Jesus Christ.
