Journey Through the Bible-In Art
On Rally Day (August 29), we will begin a journey through the bible sermon series which concludes June 19, 2011 with The Return of Jesus. Each week's theme will be represented through an art form to be displayed in worship and wall mounted in Spirit Hall forming a timeline of our journey each Sunday. We are looking for artists within and outside of our congregation who might be interested in "adopting" a theme and creating an art piece reflecting that theme. It can be anything- a tapestry, wood carving, canvas painting, metal sculpture, origami, a quilt, paper mache, or something we haven't even thought of.
