Stepping Stones / Confirmation
The Mission: To partner with parents to fulfill their baptismal promises.
The Method: As a family walking in the waters of our baptism, we have Stepping Stones in the River of Life that guide us on our journey of becoming more like Jesus Christ. With each stone we equip families with opportunities to learn together. Families are encouraged in worship by publicly blessing each other and we empower families with tools to continue their faith journey at home.

Equip: Nine events for parent and youth to attend together over the three years of middle school. Events will explore Luther’s Small Catechism as well as the more current issues of Sexuality, Media, Power and more.
Encourage: Youth are presented with a specially chosen gift from their parents at the completion of their Confirmation studies when they stand as adult members of our congregation.
Empower: Take home materials are presented at each event and are also available in the Beacon Bookstore.
