High School Age through adult are welcome to join us weekly as we prepare the best of choral literature for use in traditional worship at the 8:45 traditional service on Sundays.

Joyful Noise Boys

Barbershop style men’s a cappela group. Audition required.

 

Men’s Chorus

Wednesday 6:00-6:35 pm     Music Room M248
Men’s choral experience. Sing at worship occasionally.   If you like to sing, and would welcome the camaraderie of other men in a Christian setting, please join us. We’ll sing at worship services 4-5 times throughout the year. The ability to read music is a plus, but not required. All skill levels are welcome. Please join us—and bring a friend!

All instruments welcome (brass, winds, and strings).  Anyone from eighth grade and up is welcome – younger members need to have experience with playing in an ensemble and with challenging music. We play often for church, both accompanying anthems and worship, as well as performing solo orchestral works.

Adult advanced bell choir. This adult choir prepares challenging five-octave music for worship that is of advanced difficulty. We also have lots of fun so join us!

 

Faith Ringers

All ages, 3rd grade and up, are welcome!  This group is for those who are just beginning to ring bells or don’t feel qualified to move up to intermediate level music. No experience necessary. Contact Jill Gibson or Craig Cole.

Leap of Faith

Liturgical dance troupe seeks to glorify God by interpreting our worship music with movement and dance in contemporary worship services. Different parts of the liturgy and anthems will be prepared and shared in worship. Teens will finish by 8:30 PM

Classes promote and nurture both musical and faith development in young children through participation in Bible songs, stories, music making and movement activities.

Children will read a Bible Story followed by building with LEGO bricks inspired by the story.

Grace & Faith Choirs-002

Grace Choir
Wednesday:  Grades K-2
6:00-6:45pm    Room M241/242

 

Children in Grace Choir will sing, move, listen and pray together, while nurturing their singing voice. They will regularly help provide leadership in traditional and contemporary worship, and perform in a chorus for the Christmas musical. After Grace Choir, children will be escorted to either Grace Fun Club or Grace Dance. (Students will also participate in the Christmas Musical).

 

Faith Choir
Wednesday: 6:00-7:30   Grades 3-5
6:00-6:45pm     Room M239/240
Faith Choir will prepare intermediate level music for the church year, participate in the Christmas musical, and regularly help provide leadership in traditional and contemporary worship. After Faith Choir, children will be escorted to either Faith Jam or Faith Dance. (Students will also participate in the Christmas Musical).

FaithJam!

In FaithJam, kids will explore all aspects of music making through fun activities including musical games, playing drums & percussion, and exploring and creating original music on Orff instruments.

Children participate in playtime activities, immediately following their rehearsal in Grace Choir.

Learn to use dance as a way to express our faith through movement.

 

Christmas Musical Grades K-5

In the fall semester, all children in Grace & Faith choirs will participate in the chorus of the Christmas musical, learning the music during regular choir rehearsals on Wednesdays.  Children in grades 3-5 are eligible to audition for a speaking part or solo.  Additional full-cast rehearsals will be held in October, November and December.

  • Performing arts students live out their faith through drama, music and dance.

The Experience

Designed to utilize the talents of everyone, The Experience includes drama, dance, visual arts, video, and much, much more!  What’s more, the youth lead much of the whole experience themselves. Join in the fall for our Christmas production or in the spring for our Summer Tour. Both strive to raise money in order to help others within our community.
